Tel-Screw Products (Pty) Ltd. started business in Germiston in the outskirts of Johannesburg over a quarter of a century ago. At that time special fasteners were mostly imported. Our original staff consisted of a total work force of 4 people. The Company moved to Boksburg in 1984 and now have a staff of 125 people led by a team of fully qualified artisans.
Many of our products are marketed overseas and across our borders through the bolt & nut merchants that we supply. We also sell direct to the public items such as fasteners for the fencing industry, including overhead line accessories. Our clients include the mining, building and motor industry. We keep stock of over ten thousand different items on the shelf at all times.
Our strong feature has always been the specified fastener that no one else carries or will manufacture and we are prepared to make any quantities except half of anything. We are able to manufacture a wide range of products in short delivery times. For special breakdowns, we are able to offer a 24-hour turnaround time depending on the component.
Obviously the bigger the quantity the better the price. Tel-Screw Products (Pty) Ltd. has been in business since 1969 without a single sales representative - our name has spread across South Africa based solely on the quantity and service we provide.
We manufacture our own tooling and have facilities to manufacture our own spare parts.
